The Origin is a 2017 mystery thriller novel by Dan Brown. Took me long enough, but I finally landed on it this year. If you’re a Dan Brown fan, you know for sure that it’s worth your money and time if you haven’t read it. If you did infact read it, well, how amazing is this guy, huh?
What amazes me about Dan Brown is however controversial his work is, you just can’t put the book down once you pick it up, neither can you resist picking a new one off the shelf when it’s released. Must be great to be so talented (*deep sigh*).
Set in Spain, the novel is centred around Edmond Kirsch, a billionaire philanthropist, computer scientist and atheist who has the most revolutionary discovery to share with the world. Unfortunately, the top religious leaders he first shares this discovery with do not think it should leave the room. Mr. Kirsch insists though and what follows is a wild, breathtaking journey that you can always expect from a Dan Brown novel, and of course, our favourite professor, Robert Langdon is available to try and save the day.
So 10/10 would totally recommend The Origin to everyone out there looking for a thrill!
